Reaffirming its commitment to inclusive education and community empowerment, Seylan Bank donated a smart board and a suite of carpentry tools to the WP/PIL School for the Deaf, Ratmalana on June 5, supporting the educational and vocational development of hearing-impaired students.
The donation is expected to significantly enhance the studentsโ learning experiences by supporting modern teaching methods and encouraging practical skill development. The smart board is set to enable more interactive and engaging classroom sessions. The carpentry tools will help students develop valuable vocational skills that will contribute towards future career opportunities and independent living.
