Peopleโs Bank has once again been recognised as one of Sri Lankaโs outstanding women-friendly workplaces at the Satynmag Women Friendly Workplace Awards 2026, held recently at The Grand Maitland.
This marks the sixth consecutive year that Peopleโs Bank has received this prestigious recognition, reaffirming its steadfast commitment to fostering gender equality, diversity and inclusion within the workplace.
The recognition reflects the Bankโs continued focus on best practices in promoting gender inclusion, leadership development and mentorship opportunities, while creating a safe, supportive and inclusive working environment. With women comprising over 60% of its workforce, Peopleโs Bank continues to empower and support women employees across all areas of banking.
The achievement further reinforces Peopleโs Bankโs position as a leading organisation committed to driving positive change and fostering a more inclusive and equitable corporate culture in Sri Lanka.
