VietJet Air Colombo office opened by ambassador of Vietnam to Sri Lanka

VietJet Air officially marked the opening of its Colombo office at a special ceremony inaugurated by Trinh Thi Tam, Ambassador of Vietnam to Sri Lanka.

The airlineโ€™s operations in Sri Lanka will be represented by its General Sales Agent (GSA) Andrew The Aviation Company (Pvt) Ltd under the leadership of its Chairman, Mahen Kariyawasan. The Colombo office will serve as a key point for passenger services, trade partnerships, travel agent support and operational coordination in Sri Lanka. VietJet Air is expected to further enhance connectivity between the two countries while promoting tourism, trade and cultural exchanges.

Addressing the gathering, Ambassador Trinh Thi Tam highlighted the growing relations between Vietnam and Sri Lanka and welcomed the expansion of VietJet Airโ€™s presence in the Sri Lankan market.

Mahen Kariyawasan, Chairman of Andrew The Aviation Company (Pvt) Ltd stated that the partnership with VietJet Air would contribute significantly towards increasing travel opportunities and supporting the growth of tourism and commercial cooperation between the two nations. VietJet Air, one of Vietnamโ€™s leading low-cost carriers, continues to expand its international footprint across Asia with a strong focus on connectivity, affordability, and customer convenience.
